Denim or Die

Looking into a future where denim can no longer be made due to running out of resources due to unsustainable practice, I explore the lives of the future where denim is a finite material that cannot be reproduced. Emulating the experience by only using what I find, and not buying anything new, I try a new technique in creating garments that cannot be used as pattern pieces due to fabric scarcity. Making something that is hardwearing to harsh conditions and takes inspiration from punk clothing that uses denim ”imperfections” to its advantage.
