Poor Young Thing

Inspired by the Bright Young Things, children of the elite who threw elaborate and decadent costume parties,I wanted to recreate that in my life, which is quiet and mundane, using this theme as an escape from reality.I wanted to recreate the same spontaneous adventure, only using things around me. My final design echoes that, by creating a garment that is reminiscent of ripping wallpaper off the wall to create an outfit. This project was a collaboration with Liberty, using their 2026 collection Floral Rebellion fabrics to bring the party to life.
